The lovely lady we met at ComicCon that commissioned us to make the Savage Islands board game for her brother's 40th got back in touch - this time commissioning us to make a birthday present for her boyfriend, based on all of his favourite bands and gigs he'd been to.
Our first instruction was to replicate the album cover of The Wedding Present's 1989 album, Bizarro. The board was then populated with other bands and album covers, gig photos, and concert tropes, with the game cards featuring personal experiences and stories.
